At last year’s event, the women of Asheville brought their entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to connect to the inaugural Women’s Business Weekend. The women who attended experienced relating more deeply to our community, established new relationships, both business and personal, and laid the groundwork for ideas to be supported by powerful peers and colleagues. Women's Business Weekend 2013 brings ideas from empowered, national thought groups to the local community. We want to strike a balance between what is going on at a national and global level and what is going on at the grassroots level. Focused discussions cover a wide-range of topics that help Ashevillans to move from concept to start-up, to thriving in a 'coopetition' based framework that moves us all forward, together.
